Mr. Alii has been working with Milango Financial Services since the company’s inception. He has worked with the organization under various capacities, such as working as a Credit Officer, a Branch Manager, and as an Alternative Business Development Manager. Prior to joining Milango, Mr. Alii worked with the National Council of Churches of Kenya as an Assistant Regional Program Officer and then later with Faulu DTM for 3 years as an Assistant Development Officer. Charles holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Business Administration.
Mrs. Awuor has worked with Milango since March 2011. Previously, she worked as a Credit Officer with Equity Bank then moved be a Team Leader in Deposit Mobilization at Faulu DTM. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Business Administration and Accounts from Daystar University. Mrs. Awuor is married to Peter Awuor and blessed with 2 children. In her free time, she loves to be in the water snorkeling and swimming.
Mr. Kirui has worked with Milango Financial Services since 2010 when he began working as an intern and shortly thereafter was promoted to Assistant Accountant in the same year. He was confirmed as an Accountant in 2011 and is currently working as a Senior Accountant.
Prior to joining Milango Financial Services, Mr. Kioko previously worked with Standard Charted Bank as a Direct Sales Representative as well as at Kenya Women Finance Trust as a Credit Officer for 2 years where he was a Senior Micro-Finance Officer. Mr. Kioko holds Bachelor in Business Administration from Kenya Methodist University and a Higher Diploma in Business Management from Kenya Polytechnic University College. Mr. Kioko is in charge of portfolio quality at Milango.
Mr. Kyengo joined Milango Financial Services in July of 2011 as the System Administrator and Portfolio Analyst. He has a wealth of experience in Banking Operations and IT systems. Prior to working at Milango, he served at Faulu Kenya DTM as the Branch Operations Manager, where he piloted M-Pesa bulk payment and paybill transactions as well as the first Deposit Taking Microfinance Branch in Mombasa. He also served at Rafiki Deposit Taking Microfinance as a Branch Manager / Acting Head of Operations, where he developed and set up operations and IT systems and structures for licensing by Central Bank of Kenya.
Ms. Mbochu graduated from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelors of Science degree and is currently pursuing an MBA at Daystar University in Mombasa. Before coming to Milango, she worked at Faulu Kenya LTD as a Credit Officer. She is first-rate at handling both staff and customer issues. At Milango, Ms. Mbochu brings in a wealth of first hand professional experience in credit management.
Mrs. Mwende is the Business Unit Manager at Mariakani, previously worked Residential Computer Colleges as the Branch Manager in Mombasa Region for one year. Stella holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Institution Management from Maseno University. Mrs. Mwende is self-motivated and has passion in serving people and seeing their lives being transformed. She is married to Joel Nyae.
Ms. Mauta is the Human Resource Officer, she has 3 years experience in Micro-Finance as well as other entities having worked with Kenya Power & Lighting Company for 1 year and Milango Financial Services for 2 years. Ms. Mauta joined Milango Financial Services as a Customer Service Officer in charge of all 7 branches. This gave her a wealth of experience in dealing with clients and staff and she has since been promoted to Milango’s Human Resource Officer and is in charge over 65 staff members.
Zack has worked in Milango Financial Services in various capacities, rising from Data Clerk to Marketing Manager. He brings on board a variety of experience in Information Technology and Media Relation having served in various Media houses.
Michael has been working at Milango Financial Services since 2010, and served as a Micro-Finance officer before being appointed as a Unit Manager and the Kiva Coordinator for Milango.
Mr. Thairu holds a diploma in Information Technology and is currently pursuing higher diploma in Business Management. He previously worked with Faulu Kenya for five years as a Supervisor in the Data Processing Department. He loves farming, chicken rearing and pig rearing. His hobby is travelling and loves to be involved in charity projects. Mr. Thairu is married to Peris Maina Magua and is blessed with one daughter, Neema Wanjiru Magua.
